For developers, it was easy to work with. In a lot of ways, the PS4 was specifically designed to sidestep many of its predecessor's issues. In our humble opinion, the PS4 era has been one of Sony's strongest - coming incredibly close to equalling the immense success of the PS2, and ushering in an impressively lucrative age of digital gaming.įollowing on from the PS3, Sony knew that it couldn't afford another bad start to a console generation.
